MSc operations has started in 1985 as a small power converter manufacturer in Tampere, Finland. Today MSc is formed by two companies; MSc Electronics Oy, that specializes in power converters for smart grid, renewable energy and industrial applications and MSc Traction Oy, that specializes in auxiliary power converters for rail vehicles. The companies' headquarters and production are in Tampere, Finland
