MSc delivers inverters for tourist submarine retrofit

MSc will make a new delivery of inverters for Sindbad Submarine’s tourist submarine operating in a Red Sea holiday resort in Hurghada. The delivery is part of a modernising project and consists of 3 x 50kVA thruster inverters, including the main, lateral and vertical thruster drives, and 22kVA/400 Vac/50 Hz auxiliary power converter.

The inverters will replace the original batch delivered in the early 1990s. MSc has provided inverters for more than 10 large-scale tourist submarines operating in varied locations around the world.

The long-standing customer relationship and the fact that the inverters have been operating reliably for 35 years are a testament to the durability and proven performance of MSc’s technology.
